Hello All,

May is recognized as Mental Health Awareness Month, marking a significant opportunity to promote understanding and reduce mental health stigma. Let’s use this time to raise awareness about the importance of mental health, encourage open conversations, and advocate for policies that support mental wellness.

Mental Health Awareness Month reminds and encourages us to foster a more inclusive and supportive environment where everyone feels empowered to talk about their mental health and seek the help they need.

It also reminds us to thank those who work tirelessly to support mental health. Special thanks to dedicated CODI staff who work selflessly to advocate for and enhance ongoing opportunities for wellness and recovery.

Ultimately, May serves as a reminder that mental health is an integral part of overall health, and by working together, we can create a more compassionate and understanding society.

It's also a time to emphasize the importance of reflecting on ways to improve access to early intervention and care and remind everyone that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Let’s make time to talk, listen, and heal together.

Warm regards,

Linda Carney
President/CEO
